Richard Mace

I am a teacher and tutor with 30 years experience in the classroom. I have variously served as a Head, Head of KS4, Head of English, Head of History and Director of Humanities. I have worked in prestigious independent schools such as Brighton College and maintained schools. I have successfully prepared students for 13+ and Scholarship examinations in order to access schools such as Winchester, Westminster, Harrow, Oundle and Eton. I have successfully prepared numerous students for GCSE and A Levels to access Russell Group Universities including Oxford, Cambridge and overseas universities such as Harvard. I have extensive experience teaching students with SEN and SEMH needs. I always seek to communicate well, present structured and focused lessons that support and stretch in equal measure.
