Emma Falconer is an experienced education professional with over 15 years of supporting children and young people across Early Years and Primary settings in the UK and internationally. She specialises in mentoring, pastoral care, safeguarding, and supporting pupils with diverse needs, including SEN and social-emotional challenges.

Teaching Experience

An experienced Primary Teacher with a strong background across Early Years and Key Stage 1, and experience supporting Key Stage 2. Over 15 years of teaching and educational support experience in the UK and internationally, including both permanent and supply roles.

Recent roles include working as a Supply Teacher across a range of primary schools, delivering lessons, maintaining classroom continuity, and supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development. As a Year 2 Teacher, responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and providing targeted support to meet individual needs.

Extensive experience in Key Stage 1, particularly in Year 1 and Year 2, with a strong focus on early literacy, numeracy, and phonics. Skilled in supporting children’s transition into formal education, promoting independence, and developing positive learning behaviours.

Experience also includes long-term roles in Year 1 and Year 3, providing consistency, structured learning, and pastoral support. Confident in adapting teaching approaches to meet diverse needs, including pupils with SEN and those requiring additional emotional support.
